On April 26, 2025, Global Heritage Society proudly participated in the Party for the Planet celebration at the Bergen County Zoo, serving as one of the featured local conservation organizations. As part of our presence, we hosted an engaging table exhibit focused on the unique ecology of the Gobi Desert and the critical efforts to conserve the endangered wild camel.
The exhibit featured an interactive wildlife guessing game, where visitors tested their knowledge of the fascinating animals that inhabit the Gobi Desert. Additionally, a hands-on papercraft activity invited children and families to fold their own wild camel models — an activity that proved especially popular with the younger attendees.
Despite a day of steady rain, the event drew hundreds of enthusiastic participants throughout the zoo’s opening hours, reflecting the strong community support for conservation education and action.
